I tried Metastock but found its backtesting to be flaky. For exemplar, it would do "criminal" things if the settings were not blame.. let's say you entered into a merchandising on the close up of a bar with a blocking 50 pips away, then if taint had reached that frank during the same bar, it would ban you out!! In other words, you would get stopped before you even put the truck on. It's a bug and when I spoke to them, they admitted as much, and advised to always proffer on the stretch out of a bar a substitute alternatively (gee thanks).
